Welcome

Greetings to the Women of First Presbyterian Church!
I am honored to serve with you as we embark on a meaningful year for Presbyterian Women.  Our church is fortunate to have such a loving, spirit-filled group of women to support each other through Bible study, prayer and missions.   I would like to extend a heartfelt invitation to every woman in our church to join us and discover the warm fellowship of PW. You might just find that this is the connection to our church that you’ve been looking for.
One purpose of Presbyterian Women is “to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible Study”. Let us support and inspire one another as we study God’s word! Our Bible Study, Excellence: Run with the Horses will encourage us to live at our best and pursue righteousness as we discover God’s purpose for our lives.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
We each have unique gifts and talents that God has blessed us with. I am delighted that we can serve together, learn from each other and use our gifts to God’s glory. I pray that we can celebrate each unique season of our life and faith as we grow in our relationship with our Lord and discover his purpose for our lives.
To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven.”  Ecclesiastes 3:1

Blessings,
Laura Coyle,
Moderator

Prayer Chain

One of the many ministries of First Presbyterian Church is prayer. There currently exists two ladies' prayer chains composed of 70 women from within the FPC family who have agreed to pray for members of our congregation and their families when problems due to illness, injury, death, job concern or any other matter for which the family might desire prayer.

If you or any member of your family would like prayer support, please call Emily Eberle and the prayer chains will be activated. If you would like to be a prayer warrior yourself, call Emily, and she will see that you are added to either the daytime or the night prayer chain.

The body of Christ is called to support each other in prayer, and it is truly a privilege!

Minister for Pastoral Care
Minister to call for pastoral care is Sandra Randleman at 298-9502 or e-mail in confidence: srandleman@fpcnshville.org. For emergencies after hours, please call the church at 615-383-1815 for information on how to reach the on-call pastor.
