Officer Prayer Time
Prayer requests can be submitted to church officers by filling out prayer request cards and depositing them in the Prayer Request Box located in the Narthex on the southeast wall of the Sanctuary. Prayer request cards are found in the pew racks and also in a rack attached to the Prayer Request Box. Officers meet each Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. in the Church Library to confidentially lift up prayer requests to God.

Prayer Chain
One of the many ministries of First Presbyterian Church is prayer. There currently exists two ladies' prayer chains composed of 70 women from within the FPC family who have agreed to pray for members of our congregation and their families when problems due to illness, injury, death, job concern or any other matter for which the family might desire prayer.
If you or any member of your family would like prayer support, please call Emily Eberle and the prayer chains will be activated. If you would like to be a prayer warrior yourself, call Emily, and she will see that you are added to either the daytime or the night prayer chain.
The body of Christ is called to support each other in prayer, and it is truly a privilege!

Prayer and Fasting List
Just a reminder list of the types of things that we need to be praying about for FPC whether we are fasting or not.
1) Spiritual, physical and emotional needs of our pastors, staff and their families.
2) That the present and future leaders of FPC (Elders, Deacons, Sunday school teachers, etc.) would have hearts that desired to please God.
3) Missions Committee: That our giving in this area would be increased significantly.
4) Recreation Department (we touch thousands of lives of young children each year)
5) Oak Hill School and Oak Hill Day Camp.
6)Stewardship and Capital Campaigns: That God would give all of us hearts that would give cheerfully (hilariously), not grudgingly or under compulsion.
7) That God would give the leadership of FPC a shared vision of what we can and should become. That we would more nearly reach our potential.
8) That each of us individually and corporately would be open to the touch of the Holy Spirit. That we would be revived/awakened. That we would develop a deeper, richer walk with the Lord.
9) That we would literally weep and pray over those we know and love who are lost and separated from Christ.
10) That we would do a better job of discipling those who are new in their faith.
11) Pray for our Officer Nominating Committee.
This is not an exhaustive list. Give me your ideas and I will pass them along to the group. I continue to grow in conviction that if our motives are right (if we are seeking to glorify God with our prayer and fasting) He will be pleased and answer our prayers in ways that we can't even hope to imagine.
I would like to continue to add to our list. Feel free to invite your close brothers and sisters in Christ to join us. If anyone shows interest, let me know and I will e-mail them.
