We work hard to be a caring congregation. We believe that a caring fellowship is a strong witness to the love of God.
The opportunities for fellowship at First Presbyterian come on both large and small scales. We gather during the school year as a church family on Wednesday night for the School of Christian Living. It is not unusual for more than 400 people to share in the evening meal and then participate in choirs or one of the many classes designed to enrich their faith.
Our small group's ministry is also a vital part of our fellowship. Some groups meet weekly, some monthly and some semi-monthly. We have groups for adults and youth and, of course, our Presbyterian Women Circles, which meet monthly.
Each summer, the church family gathers at Camp NaCoMe for a weekend family camp. Several Sunday School classes sponsor retreats. Marriage enrichment retreats are
scheduled from time to time.
